Double up with dual enrollment

It is again-to-college for students right here in the Lowcountry and throughout the country. The Technological University of the Lowcountry Hampton Campus is also kicking off fall lessons this month.

My column in July highlighted TCL Hampton’s emphasis on workforce improvement and its vocation, university transfer and continuing schooling offerings. But did you know that TCL also offers faculty classes for higher faculty learners?

TCL’s twin enrollment system makes it possible for qualified significant college college students to consider courses at TCL and gain the two superior school and college credit rating. Listed here in Hampton, the faculty district addresses the price of tuition and publications for its dual enrollment college students. In other words, these learners fork out almost nothing out of pocket to jumpstart their university education and learning or professions.

The Hampton County College District also gives transportation to the Mungin Middle for twin enrollment courses, or students can choose to go to courses at other TCL campuses or on-line. Much more than 300 Hampton County high school students have participated in twin enrollment in the past 3 decades.
