South Bend’s Riverwalk Cafe delivers Southern, Caribbean, Italian dishes

Patrice Langston in the beginning looked at the former cafeteria room inside of 701 N. Niles Ave. as a different spot for her catering operation.

Langston, who lives in Florida and has a company catering business enterprise known as A Taste of Heaven in Atlanta, came to the South Bend space for a business function and satisfied with community developer David Matthews, who owns the making.

But following seeing the place, she considered it could be extra.

“I noticed the room and explained ‘oh well, you know it would most likely be a really superior cafe,'” Langston mentioned. “And then I began sampling restaurants around city and seen there was not a large amount of convenience foodstuff. … (At the very least) none that do what I do.”
